General Information 

Cave Run Lake is 60 miles east of Lexington, Kentucky. Exits 123, 133, and 137 off Interstate 64 provide the primary access routes.

It is nestled among the rolling hills of northeastern Kentucky. It is located on the Cumberland Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest. This 8,270-acre lake provides flood protection and a clean water supply to area communities. Tourists enjoy the lake for its scenery and excellent recreation opportunities. Boating, camping, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife viewing are some of the activities enjoyed by visitors.

About This Property 

Escape to our "camp in the woods" nestled in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest, where you can relax and unwind. Or if adventure is more your speed, explore Kentucky's natural resources at Red River Gorge (hiking, rock climbing) and Cave Run Lake (boating, swimming, kayaking, fishing, hunting). It's the perfect base for some outdoor adventure. 

Take a break & unwind at this "camp in the woods" near the shoreline of Cave Run Lake.  Time spent here is unique and memorable.

Each campsite sleeps up to 8 and has some extra amenities.  It has 2 tent platforms for off-the-ground sleeping, picnic tables and fire pits.  Shower and lavatory are available on the property.

The parking lot is big enough for your boat with the closest boat ramp (Leatherwood) less than 1 mile away.

We are pet friendly. Please let us know if you are bringing your dogs.  We allow up to 3 dogs at a fee of $25 per pet.
